Supporting competitive Brazilian companies in the international market is a primary objective of the Brazilian government, and for more than sixteen years BNDES has been participating in the successful effort of maintaining a market-based, competitive environment for Brazilian exporters. BNDES-exim provides Brazilian producers of goods and services with an important source of financing for their commercial transactions with the rest of the world. Among the actions implemented by BNDES-exim, the increasing support of Brazilian companies which trade in South America has been emphasized, in response to their strategy of strengthening commercial and financial ties in the continent.

The goal of supporting the development of a more dynamic export sector, integrated to the global market, also meets the objective of strengthening the domestic market, operating as a powerful instrument for Brazilian enterprises to increase productivity and improve the quality of their goods and services.

BNDES-exim's support to Brazilian exporting companies means a significant contribution to achieve a long-term sustainable development, by offering financial instruments for a fair and successful action of Brazilian businesses abroad.
