Loans above R$ 10 million (*) for investment projects, for the implementation, expansion of productive capacity and modernization of companies, including acquisition of new machines and equipment, manufactured in Brazil, accredited by BNDES, as well as the import of new machinery, not manufactured in Brazil, and associated working capital, directly operated with BNDES or through accredited financial institutions.
(*) As an exception, the minimum amount of the facility may vary, at the sole discretion of BNDES, pursuant to the following fields of activity:

Interest Rate
For direct support: Financial Cost + BNDES Fee + Credit risk rate
For indirect support: Financial Cost + BNDES Fee + Financial intermediation rate + Accredited Financial Institution fee
Financial Cost
The financial cost includes one or more of the following indexes:
Long Term Interest Rate - TJLP;
TJ-462 - Interest Rate Provisional Measure 462 = Long-Term Interest Rate (TJLP) +
1.0% p.a. (per
annum)
Basket -US dollar or UMBNDES (BNDES Monetary Unit) variation plus Currency Basket charges;
National Extensive Consumer Price Index [IPCA],
plus charges.
The operation financial cost composition shall respect the percentages established under the
financial conditions applicable to each financing
range.
For Brazilian companies under foreign capital control not mentioned in Decree no. 2233, of 23/05/1997, as amended, the financial cost will be of 100% in Basket.
BNDES
Spread (Direct and Indirect Operations)
BNDES Spread is defined according to BNDES financing facilities: maximum of
2.5% per annum.

Investments in sectors supported by the Programa de Dinamização Regional - PDR (Regional Streamlining Program) experienced an increase of 10% in BNDES share level, in a cumulative manner. These investments are destined to projects to be carried out in the Brazilian North and Northeast regions (where Sudene acts) and projects in low income and lower average income cities.
Credit Risk Rate
- Up to 3.57% per annum (as per beneficiary’s credit risk);
Where:
- 0.5% p.a for operations guaranteed by bank guarantee;
- 1.0% p.a for the direct public administration of States and Cities;
- Exempt for operations with Brazilian Treasury’s credit risk coverage;
- Exempt for operations performed in the Innovation Line – Technological Innovation; and
- Exempt for operations performed with Micro, Small and Medium Sized Businesses under Inovação - Capital Inovador Facility (Innovation – Innovative Capital).
Accredited Financial Institution Fee
Negotiated between the accredited financial institution and the
client.
Financial Intermediation Rate
0.5% p.a.
Note: Operations with micro, small and medium enterprises and PMAT (Modernization of the Tax Administration and Management of Basic Social Sectors) Line are exempted from the financial intermediation rate.
Capital Good Leasing line operations levy on the financial intermediation rate, regardless the size of the leased or the lessor company.
Other Charges
Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social [BNDES] collects financial charges and commissions specific to the characteristics of its operations, such as commission on study and structuring, which should be fully paid at presentation of the project or discounted in the first release of
funds.

of Participation
The maximum share levels are indicative and apply on the total financeable
investment.

The financeable investments carried out since the sixth month prior to the presentation of a previous consultation to BNDES, or since the financing request to the Financial Institution, may only be considered as a counterbalance effect. In case of micro enterprises, this period will include up to the 12th month prior to the previous consultation to BNDES or the financing request to the Financial Institution.
Associated working
capital
The associated working capital portion will be computed in function of the endeavor's specific
needs and limited to 30% of fixed investment financing.
Maturity
Determined in function of the endeavor, enterprise or economic
group's payment capacity.
